QualificationDegree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringCertification Project and OperationsRequirementsMinimum 5 years' Service Management experience, knowledge of industry standards within refrigeration / facilities management, compliance requirements, best practice, cost management and performance analysisManaging a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Artisans and ElectriciansComputerized Maintenance Management SystemMust have good knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Building Codes, Quality Inspections, Hazard & Risk AssessmentsUnderstanding of contract negotiation/management techniques, subcontractors relationship management, excellent communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of/ability to use: CMMS and/or CAFM systems, business communication systems, business programs for word processing, spreadsheet development, and presentation development, function-specific systems such as project management tools.DutiesManaging the technical staff, composed of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled technicians and labourersPlanning and delivering scheduled maintenance works and responding to breakdownsManaging budgets and maintaining statistical and financial recordsEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislationManages project resources accordingly within a budget(s)Negotiates contracts with new vendors and suppliersImplements proactive risk management plans and assists in developing long-term contingency plansProvide incident report and technical faults root causeEffectively schedule the work of others to complete operations, programs, or activitiesReport any defective materials in a timely manner in order to avoid any disruption in the delivery of servicesConduct inspections of all areas ensuring upkeep of good hygiene standards
