TECHNICAL PROJECT ENGINEER – 12 MONTH CONTRACT UITENHAGE(Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Uitenhage or Port Elizabeth)Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced employees to fill the above contractual vacancy.REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONSMatricMechanical / Mechatronics Engineer qualificationsExperience within the automotive/automation industryKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSIn-depth knowledge of production processes, layouts, and facilities.Excellent insight into total company Engineering, planning, manufacturing systems, and pre-calculated costing practices.Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).Good analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving.Assertive with facilitation skills.Ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels.Extremely motivated, flexible, and able to perform in stressful environments.Working knowledge of Technical German Language.Willingness to travel internationally at short notice.JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:Formulating and compiling detailed product specifications.Keeping projects on budget.Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering projects.Problem identification and resolution.Cooperating and communicating effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.Managing project issues, risks, and actions.Managing project changes to achieve project outputs.Project evaluations and assessments of results.Applicants that meet the minimum requirements need apply; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
