Overview Description:Hire Resolve's client, a mining company based in Gauteng, is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their team.
As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations in the mining sector, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement.Responsibilities: Manage and lead the technical team in the mining operationsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standardsImplement and maintain technical standards and proceduresOversee the maintenance and repair of mining equipmentIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvement and optimized use of resourcesCoordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiencyProvide technical guidance and support to the operations teamMonitor and report on key technical performance indicators Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field8 years' experience in the mining industry5 years' experience in mineral extraction processes.3 years' experience in comminution and flotation.Experience in metallurgy/metalliferous minerals will be advantageous.Valid Drivers' License Benefits: Salary: NegotiablePaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
