Overview Hire Result's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to oversee all technical aspects of our production processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, product development, and manufacturing within the homeware industry.
The Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality, efficiency, and safety of our manufacturing operations.Responsibilities: Develop and program CNC machine instructions based on detailed design specifications and drawingsTroubleshoot and resolve CNC programming issues, ensuring precise and accurate machining of componentsContinuously improve CNC programming techniques and workflows to enhance productivity and reduce errorsSet up and maintain machine maintenance schedules and report machine breakdownsEnsure machinery is optimized for efficient and quality productionMonitor the quality and accuracy of technical drawings completed by the teamImplement and oversee quality control procedures with WFC FactoryManager to ensure that all prototypes and production runs meet business standardsEnsuring that design concepts/briefs are effectively translated into physical products through precise manufacturing techniques (materials, methodology, etc.Lead a team by providing guidance, training, and supportLead and manage R&D regarding materials (finishes and hardware) and packagingBefore investment, responsible for technical motivation in conjunction with WFC Factory Manager for final sign-off Requirements: A bachelor's degree in industrial design, draughting, or mechanical engineeringProven experience in product design and development, including a strong portfolio of successful projects5 years of working experience in a similar positionProficient in design software and computer literate: AutoCADFusion 360Microsoft OfficeCNC Programming Solid understanding of raw material, hardware, construction/assembly, and finishingDemonstrate a passion for materials, furniture construction, and design; will be creative & passionate about the company brand, eager to use their skills to maximize the brand lookThis role will require a driver's license and reliable transportGood time management and communication skillsBe able to work under pressure and produce high-quality workDemonstrates a positive hands-on, can-do attitudeFocused and have a high level of self-discipline and continuous willingness to learn Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
