The role requires overseeing, maintaining and continuously improvement of the Food Safety & Quality Management system and related food safety & quality activities for the Ready Meals Gauteng Unit in line with company policy and procedures as well as Customer Standards and requirements.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum ND Food Technology or BSc Food Science with 8 years or more Experience in Factory Environment or Equivalent.EXPERIENCE REQUIREDAt least 8 year's quality assurance experience in a food processing plant.Previous experience in a management position of at least 2 yearsWorking knowledge of Food Safety Management systems such as FSSC 22000 or equivalent is a must.Auditing skills internal and lead auditorWorking knowledge of IBL will be to your advantage

SENIOR FOOD TECHNOLOGIST
Assist and Manage Senior Food Technologist with their duties.Assist Senior Technologists in managing QC's and Cleaners.Implement and maintain QC related activities/checks in the factory.Ensure proper record keeping of all related QC activities.Review and guide Category Technologists with Customer complaint investigation and feedback.Sign off Customer complaint feedback.Review customer complaints and report trends relating to customer complaints to the Operations Team.Oversee trending of Customer Complaints.Manage any projects relating to their categories.NPD & FACTORY TRIALS
