Established manufacturing concern is looking to employ a Technical Engineering Manager in their Cape Town operation. The Engineering Division assumes responsibility for ensuring the efficient repair and preventive maintenance of the company's plant and equipment. This role necessitates managing the engineering division for the Cape Town region. A pivotal aspect of the position involves assessing and establishing optimal repair techniques, while also furnishing cost analyses for repair services and fabricated components.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, CANDIDATES SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Hold a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable University or Technikon.
Possess 5 to 10 years of pertinent work experience within a demanding heavy industrial setting, actively contributing as a practicing engineer.
Demonstrate at least 5 years of managerial experience within operational environments, underscoring the ability to lead effectively.
Exhibit essential diagnostic skills and a penchant for logical thinking.
The capacity to make sound decisions promptly, even under pressure, is highly valued.
