Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead to join our dynamic team and help us continue to deliver exceptional services. As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an amazing, yet simplified experience to our customers through web and mobile applications. You will work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, product managers, designers, and a team of software engineers to transform how the business interacts with customers and how customers interact with the business. You will take great pride in knowing you have positively impacted the experience of many thousands of people across the country and simplified how our company interacts with these people.
This position is based in St. George, Utah and open to candidates out of the state. Relocation to St. George will be required for candidates outside the Southern Utah area.
Some common activities in this role may include:
Direct and work within a team to solve complex business problems.
Actively participate in Scrum events such as daily standup, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Produce clean, efficient code.
Test and deploy software.
Fix and improve existing software or architecture.
Communicate limitations related to platform capabilities.
Collaborate with the team on best practices and techniques.
Write and maintain documentation per team agreement.
Mentor other software engineers.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in a lead engineering role.
4+ years of experience in a modern framework (React, Angular, Vue, NodeJS, Django, Flask).
2+ years of experience with AWS.
2+ years of experience with database technologies.
Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
Managing the end-to-end life cycle to produce software and applications.
Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Zoho CRM and its API for data communication.
CSS3 and HTML5.
Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it.
