Tech Lead – Contract/Perm – Johannesburg – R1.5M Per Annum

Currently in search for a Tech Lead to join a team of dynamic individuals in the Content & Communications Team.
The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle from conception to deployment of each new product.

Requirements: Previous experience (5+ years) in a technical leadership roleProven experience (5+ years) as a Java and/or .NET developerLead development team on core Java / J2EE and / or .NET platformsIn-depth knowledge of Java EE, Spring Framework, and related technologiesProficiency in database design and SQLExperience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker)Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressureContainer knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker) and experience in integrating with telephone-based systems are additionally advantageousAdapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end and back-end technologiesDeveloping application codes and unit tests in Java, .Net, and Rest Web ServicesReviews and approves documentation and diagrams created by the team members, (e.g., system specifications)Experience working in high-performing teams through the entire development lifecycleBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
