Santam Motor Claims has a position available for a Team Manager: Motor Claims Service Consultant based in Bloemfontein.
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting and developing a team of Motor Claims Service Consultants, monitoring targets, deadlines and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements and compliance to Standard Operating Procedures with the view to deliver a superior client service experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring that the team members are equipped with the necessary process and product knowledge, system skills and behavioural competencies to enable them to achieve their various targets.Monitor workload/workflow, processes and performance.Resolve client enquiries of a sensitive nature (complaints).Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.Attend to performance-related issues and disciplinary matters.Build and maintain excellent business relationships with intermediaries and suppliers and ensure that the team does the same.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEMatric5 - 8 years claims services experienceInsurance related qualificationExperience in a leadership role (beneficial)Process improvement and implementation experience (beneficial)Relationship Management (beneficial)Performance Management (beneficial)SKILLSAbility to work under pressure.Good communication skills (verbal & written)People management skillsComputer literate (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)KNOWLEDGEKnowledge of Short-term Insurance productsKnowledge of Santam Motor Claims processesKnowledge of Santam Motor Claims Systems (e.g. e-Natis, Abuntex, ClaimCenter, Mainframe, BPM, RSS/JDE, etc.) (advantageous)
