DUR002179 CUSTOMER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE – CATO RIDGE Job Purpose: The Customer Services Representative (CSC) is the first point of contact for customers, responsible for ensuring professional, friendly service while enhancing the business's image.
The role requires a sales-driven individual with strong communication and people skills Required Qualifications: Matric required.
Supply Chain/Distribution/Sales qualification or higher diploma preferred.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
At least 2 years of customer service or telesales experience Required Technical Competencies & Experience: Confirm customer orders and provide updates on out-of-stock items.
Handle customer queries promptly, ensuring 100% resolution with follow-up communication.
Accurately capture orders received via email or telephone within the same day.
Support the external sales team and assist with customer queries.
Communicate new customer queries to sales reps and provide effective customer support.
Meet sales targets set by the business.
Perform additional duties in support of the Sales department.
Proficient in Syspro (compulsory) and FSSC 22000 food safety standards.
Skilled in Microsoft Office, administration, organization, and negotiation Behavioural Competencies: Unquestionable integrity.
String numerical skills Computer Literate Able to work under pressure.
Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
