Job Purpose We are seeking to appoint a Loan Administration Team Leader to support our Loan Administration business line in Cape Town. Preferably, this person has knowledge of Debt Instruments Reporting & Lifecycle activities as well as cash management, swaps, FX's, CLOs, equity and loan set up within the Capital Markets' space. Key Responsibilities Engage with Loan Admin Quality Controller in order to structure the intake process workflow and streamline TMF's delivery obligations.Ensure all daily client outputs are being achieved with minimal issues.Have responsibility for orchestrating all BAU resources in their control to achieve overall goals.Ensure any non-standard requirement is assessed and escalated.Task allocation, training, and BAU staff supervision.Act as the day-to-day point of contact for escalated queries and management of items from team members.Implement controls for quality on all team deliverables and investor reporting.Monitor and track global level debt modifications, aged items & activity on primary & secondary capital markets.Meet SLA targets with multiple internal constituents, and when failed, review and implement remediatory actions; may collaborate at peer level with QC.Become a super user of TMF's loan administration software (Sentry) with a focus on all BAU activities.Be visible to external clients on BAU issues.Maintain a current level of industry knowledge and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as all applicable regulations.Adhere to all policies and procedures and have the ability to implement and monitor controls by enhancing efficiency. Key Experience Sound knowledge of private debt and broadly syndicated loans.Strategic thinking.Strong decision-making skills.Maintaining internal partnerships.Strong communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Experience with other loan administration software (Sentry) is preferable, but not essential. Candidate Profile Minimum of 4 years of experience in providing Capital Markets / Funds services.Strong understanding of the private funds and capital markets (loans) industry.Good communication skills.Minimum of a degree in Finance/Accounting.
