Your Team Responsibilities
The Team Lead (TL) oversees the performance and development of the accounting data analyst team, managing staff, processes, and technology to meet Data Operations SLAs, policies, and practices. The TL allocates work, sets productivity targets, balances priorities, ensures best practices, and serves as the main contact for internal stakeholders, focusing on team member development. The Accounting Data Analysts maintain and develop MSCI's Accounting Data Service by accurately and timely processing client accounting data from various sources, analyzing, mapping, reorganizing, and validating it for platform upload, primarily using MS Excel templates for efficient data handling.
Your Key Responsibilities Acquire in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of dataset policies and procedures.Impact the level of production and the team's ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness of objectives.Develop and execute on team-specific objectives.Communicate service delivery/performance updates to internal stakeholders.Develop practical strategies to enhance teamwork and deliver operational efficiencies.Drive the recruitment process.Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.Coach, grow, and develop team members.Set effective individual goals and motivate team members to exceed expectations.Drive the automation efforts by working with Data Engineering and other stakeholders.Ensure seamless transition of newly onboarded clients. Your skills and experience that will help you excel Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Post Graduate Advantageous).Proven experience in team management.Experience developing and coaching a team.In-depth understanding of capital markets, Data and operating systems.Demonstrable track record of successful project execution.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Developed organizational skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.Excellent communication skills.
