PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points.Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.Role Summary:Our PCS practice offers an integrated range of business services, aimed at positioning the firm as a trusted business advisor to owner-managed businesses.Manage a portfolio of PCS clients consisting of individuals, trusts, close corporations and companies, and manage the relevant staff on these assignments.Qualifications / Certifications required:B.Com Degree/ DiplomaExperience required:A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in the PCS-environmentMust have a good understanding and working experience in accounting, IFRS and IFRS v SMEs, VAT and taxResponsibilities of role:Manage portfolio of clientsManage staffReview work of staffInteractions with clients and staffTax planning and calculationsPlanning of work and staff allocationsCoaching and training of staffPerformance appraisals of staffProposals for new workInvoice clients for work doneCollection of outstanding debtorsOther administrative functionsSkill sets required:Self-starter and motivatedAbility to manage multiple activities, with a strong ability to prioritize tasksExcellent attention to detail and problem solving skillsLogical reasoning and analytical abilityAbility to build and sustain relationshipsSound administration skillsGood communication skillsFluent in English and AfrikaansExcellent knowledge of AURA, MS Word and ExcelMust have sound technical knowledgeMust be able to work overtime when necessaryMust have own transportEducation:Degrees/Field of Study required: Degrees/Field of Study preferred:Certifications:Required Skills:Optional Skills:Desired Languages:(If blank, desired languages not specified)Travel Requirements:Up to 20%Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?NoGovernment Clearance Required?YesJob Posting End Date:August 31, 2024
