Renowned for their expertise and commitment to excellence, they offer a unique opportunity for talented professionals to join their team remotely from South Africa.Employment Type: 12 Month Annual Renewable ContractLocation: Johannesburg or Cape Town (Hybrid)Primary Responsibilities:• Prepare accurate and timely US tax returns for individuals and entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.• Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to interpret US tax laws and optimize client strategies.• Develop proactive tax planning strategies to enhance client outcomes and minimize tax liabilities.• Prepare tax projections and forecasts based on current and anticipated US tax legislation.Requirements:• Minimum of 3 years' experience in US tax return preparation, with expertise in both individual and entity tax filings.• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.• Proficiency in UltraTax CS and SurePrep software for tax preparation and document management.• Strong grasp of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance obligations.• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid work environment.• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
