Our Client, a Firm of Accountants and Auditors located in the East of Pretoria holds a vacancy for a Tax AdministratorDuties & ResponsibilitiesDuties:Provide internal support to partners and clients in respect of SARS and E-filing issuesLiaising with clients as requiredSubmission of Trust, Individual and Company Income Tax ReturnsChecking of AssessmentsSorting out errors on ReturnsDealing with Refund matters (Queries)Managing Tax Return queries with SARSAttending meetings with SARSProvisional Tax Calculations & SubmissionsDonationsTax clearance certificates & Foreign Investment Tax ClearanceVAT registrationPAYE registrationsTax DirectivesCeasing of Residency ProcessRequest for suspension of payments/appealsManagement of complaints and AppealsImport/Export applicationsTax compliance with SARS and payment processHandle mail, calls, and appointments with SARS AgentsDesired Experience & QualificationExperience in tax environmentDegree in Accounting, Tax or equivalent will be an advantageExperience in completing Income Tax Returns, Evaluating AssessmentsCorresponding with SARS ConsultantsMust understand SARS procedures and abide by these deadlinesKnowledge of Income Tax Act and Tax Administration ActMust have problem-solving skills, client communication skillsAssist with SARS and General Tax QueriesAssist with Ad hoc tax tasks.Must be able to work under pressure with deadlines in a fast-paced environment and still provide excellent quality workWork in support of other members of the departmentPackage & RemunerationR20000 - R30000
