Tax Administrator

Qualification BCom (with major in Tax), BCom Financial Sciences or similar BCom Hons (Taxation) is advantageous Articles required SAIPA or similar Certification Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in tax administration or supervision within a reputable accounting/auditing firm Experience should include some general accounting as well Thorough understanding of South African tax laws, regulations, and procedures Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems (e.g.
Konsise, Syspro, etc.)
Duties Performing adhoc reviews of VAT, Income Tax, WHT, and other relevant taxes.
Handling of SARS enquiries and submission of supporting documents.
Preparing and submitting dispute resolutions: objections and appeals.
System maintenance (updating client information).
SARS efiling profile requests and maintenance.
Liaising and following up with SARS and resolving queries.
Adherence to SARS deadlines.
Complete tax administration function by implementing use of tax software and then managing for broader group outside SA as well.
Collaborate with teams to optimize tax processes and enhance efficiency.
Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and finance function accordingly.
Involvement with transfer pricing policy preparation and relevant submissions throughout the group.
