Systems Engineering Manager - Kzn

Looking for a dynamic leader to manage a talented team responsible for software deployment, server infrastructure, and VMware virtualized environments. If you have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and thrive in fast-paced environments, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:Participating, providing and assisting in the design, UAT and implementation of solutions.Hardware and software scoping and planning for client requirements.Capacity planning of resources for physical and virtual environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project & service delivery.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in various geographies.Engage in new and existing business/client project planning sessions to provide input and align to industry best standards.Ensure client systems remain stable and requirements are continuously met by teams.Ensure client SLAs, deliverables and projects are met timeously.Co-ordinate with teams for software/systems solutions UAT and deliverables.Remain proactive and responsive to prospective clients and stakeholders.Retain and develop strong relationships with clients, delivering strategic insight and advice and industry intelligence, to help them achieve their objectives.Provide feedback and evidence for audits and advise on solutions for improvement.Determine efficient communication procedures for service delivery teams to relay back to clients for impact of systems.Qualifications:8+ years of IT experience, strong leadership, and project management skills.Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, Azure, Linux, and cloud environments.Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft) and ITIL experience preferred.Desired Experience & QualificationRelevant certifications E.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified.ITIL Concepts and processes.In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, VmWare, Azure, Linux, Veeam, Hybrid Cloud deployments.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.To apply for this position, submit your CV to ******.
