Your responsibilities will include: Interpreting the business requirement specification and translating it into a detailed system design specification to enable the development of innovative, flexible, and efficient solutions to business problems. Leading a team of specialists. Exploring ways to constantly improve the quality of existing services, processes, and systems to be more efficient. Delivering exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions by resolving queries quickly and effectively. Cultivating and managing objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members by providing input to validate business requirements. Liaising and communicating the system requirements to the necessary audiences (e.g., testers, developers, business analysts, infrastructure, production support, systems analysts, etc.). Defining and documenting each function that the system is required to perform and the functional boundary of the system. Complying with, understanding, and aligning to all steps within IT development and meeting governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements. Analyzing the integrity of the system requirements, performing impact assessments, and documenting and maintaining the set of system requirements. Managing traceability between the system requirements and derived artifacts. Ensuring adequate tests are performed or reviewed for all configuration and development tasks and ensuring results are successful. Managing system and scope changes for existing projects. Continuously assessing own performance, seeking timely and clear feedback, and requesting training where appropriate. Participating and contributing to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas are actively shared. Planning and managing performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of the team to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies, and increase competencies.
