About the job The Regional Onsite Support Team is looking for a Systems Administrator to deliver and maintain client computing devices, i.e., laptops, mobile, meeting room equipment. Our team supports the UKI & META employees and IT operations as part of a wider EMEA team. We are the face of IT for SAS from employee onboarding, lifecycle upgrades, event support, through to employee off-boarding.
As a Systems Administrator – EMEA Onsite Support, you will: Perform daily system monitoring & operations, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.Troubleshoot hardware, software, or performance problems on the systems network; may repair hardware.Serve as contact for user-reported problems and compile reports on system performance and/or usage.Verify, track, and resolve user and/or system problems.Assist with documentation projects, new product evaluation, and support for special projects as needed.Responsible for IT Procurement including supplier management, following Finance policy and process.Responsible for the upkeep of our internal asset management system, including disposal of hardware following company policy and procedure.On/Off boarding tasks.Required Qualifications 5 years of experience with a networked interactive environment in user support, customer support, or training required. Experience with one or more client/server operating systems required.Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.Logical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.Good understanding of Office 365 products, ServiceNow, and Azure.Attention to detail and process-driven.Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable.
