The System Administrator is required to install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and systems, perform back-up and recovery functions, and ensure that the server infrastructure meets our organization's protocols and standards. Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software system following our ICT governance protocols. Configure, maintain, and upgrade the operating system. Collaborate with ICT Architecture and security to develop an ICT Server Infrastructure architecture and maintain a Server Security framework. Monitor and report on the capacity and performance of the server infrastructure. Perform VPN administration within the organization and administer system accounts through the active directory. Provide technical guidance on hardware and software upgrades, modifications, and improvements. Monitor and maintain configurations of various data centers, prepare technical documentation, and resolve audit findings linked to server infrastructure. Install new servers or rebuild existing ones according to operational requirements. Monitor disaster recovery site, administer server infrastructure replication, and carry out testing and verifications efficiently. Repair and recover server infrastructure from hardware or software failures and data loss incidents. Implement server security as per organization's standard operating procedures. Qualifications: - Diploma Advanced Diploma/B-Degree in ICT, IS, Computer science or a related field is essential. - MCSE: Productivity Certification, Server Certification, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification are advantageous. - Oracle Certified Server Associate is preferred. - VMware certification is advantageous.
