DescriptionThe Systems Administrator: IT Services is responsible for effective provision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure as well as fully support the business users.

Key Responsibilities The incumbent participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Contractors. To ensure all users are able to work efficiently. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualifications and Experience Senior Certificate or NQF4 equivalent Information Technology Diploma/Certificate/Degree or equivalent Knowledge At least 3 - 5 years System Administration and User support Experience in all or some of the following: Windows 10/11 Server 2016/2019/2022 Hyper-V VEEAM Backups Office 365 + licensing SQL Server Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012 RAID Array FortiGate Firewall, MikroTik Routers, Managed Switches ESET Business Antivirus Teams Meeting Rooms Skills required Strong Business Acumen Good understanding of legislative requirements Excellent Problem-solving ability Strong reporting ability Excellent communication skills Excellent Writing Skills Good Presentation Skills Excellent Time Management Strong Networking skills Attention to detail and creative thinking Project planning Adaptability
