IntroductionTo provide specialist support to the Transformation and Ethical Trading Specialist. Partner with relevant roles and structures to ensure Food Suppliers comply with the requirements of the Woolworths Code of Business Principles, Foods Ethical Trading Guidelines and B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
Support in driving and delivering Ethical and Transformation initiatives and strategic projects.Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g. Suppliers, Corporate Affairs, Buying Groups, Finance, Industry Associates).Manage internal and external queries, investigate, follow-up and respond.Support the facilitation of ongoing capacity building and education sessions with Buying teams.Aligned to annual planning and review cycle, collate, analyse, model and report on Transformation and Ethical data and scorecards.Ongoing research and benchmarking on global Ethical best practice.Keep abreast of B-BBEE legislation and changing transformation landscape.Administrative support of the Ethical end-to-end audit process.To enable required reporting, collate reports from various Ethical audit platforms, maintain Compliance Tracker and monitor progress with relevant buyers on closing out of non-conformances.Administer the Ethical Audit Budget and payments via Oracle.Manage re-validation of supplier B-BBEE certificates and ensure data integrity and accurate record retention.Prepare and submit supporting documentation/evidence for B-BBEE audit and verification purposes and respond timeously to queries.Track progress of pipeline, new and existing Enterprise & Supplier Development projects.Ability to adapt to an ever-changing landscape and capacity to grow and develop within the role.Minimum RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualification.Passion and understanding of Human Rights and Social Justice.Previous 3-5 years support specialist/administrative experience is essential.Transformation and/or Ethical Trading experience will be advantageous.Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills.Oracle and Cognos proficiency.Passion for the brand and for customers.Connecting people: building relationships with stakeholders and working well within a team.Personal effectiveness: the ability to work under pressure and to work independently.Excellent Planning and Organising skills.Good communication skills (verbal and written).Deadline oriented.Attention to detail and analytical ability.
