Support Engineer

One of our clients in the Western Cape is looking for a Support Engineer to join their team.As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to their customers. You're someone who has worked with databases, built a few Postman collections and done some scripting in Bash, PowerShell or VBScript. You enjoy working with people, have great communication skills and your time management is top notch.ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and live chat in a professional and courteous mannerTroubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to the platformDocument and track customer inquiries and resolutions in the ticketing systemCollaborate with the development team and projects team to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolutionProactively identify and suggest solutions to improve the customer experienceStay up to date on the latest developments and features of the platformQualifications and Experience2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in a SaaS environmentStrong technical knowledge of cloud computing and web-based applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with ticketing systems, particularly ConnectWise Manage is helpfulExperience with SQL, any form of scripting and tools like Postman a plus
