About Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM) HMM comprises two manganese mines, Mamatwan and Wessels, located in the Kalahari Basin, home to 80% of the world's manganese reserves.
Role Overview Position Type : Permanent, full-time Location : Hotazel Manganese Mines, Northern Cape As a Supervisor Supply Warehouse , you will supervise the execution of warehouse operations, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and aligned with South32's standards, procedures, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
Provide leadership to the warehouse team and ensure materials are handled, stored, and maintained securely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership : Supervise, coach, and lead the warehouse team to achieve set performance targets.
Safety Compliance : Ensure critical controls are implemented effectively and verified according to requirements.
Field Supervision : Monitor warehouse work execution, ensuring it meets internal procedures and HSE standards.
Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders for smooth warehouse operations.
Production Support : Provide management with relevant information for effective production planning and execution.
Warehouse Improvement : Actively participate in warehouse improvement projects.
Requirements About You Experience : At least 3 years at a supervisory level with proven leadership abilities.
Experience in warehouse and logistics activities.
Familiarity with SAP software.
Ability to work well under pressure and make sound judgments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Qualifications : Diploma or Degree (3 years) in Supply Chain or Warehousing.
