To manage the portfolio in the most cost-effective way and to ensure that he/she instils in their team the Vision and Mission of Otis.
On a typical day you will: Key Responsibilities: Maintenance of the Units (Elevator & Escalator)Maintain 100% of service of the units for the month.Verify that the quality of the unit is verified every 2 years.This needs to be done via the Elevator Survey in conjunction with the lift mechanic.The 1st survey form needs to be given to the mechanics and the 2nd survey form needs to be kept on the site.Service Supervisor needs to ensure that the survey is closed out within 90 days.Management of his portfolio to ensure that units in the field are the correct number of units that is reflected on JDE.Manage construction and ensure timely completion of projects.Selling of T & S Execution (Lead forms)Operations supervisor to ensure that all the leads are received from the mechanic.Rate of success for the team is 30%.Operations supervisor to assist with the selling of the T & S and ensure completion of the plan.AnnexureManagement of the annexure items to ensure that it is closed out within 60 days for 5.2 items and immediate close out for 5.1 items.Call backs are reduced by ensuring the mechanics have sufficient knowledge on how to repair the faulty units as well as providing support for more troublesome units.Ensure the chargeable call-backs are charged and reported correctly.SafetyManage the FPA plan for each mechanic for the 12 months. (Mandatory)Manage the WWJSSS plan.Manage the safety portfolio for your mechanics.Labour CostManage the O hours per unit to ensure reduction of labour cost per unit.Ensure the completion of PUI within the right timeline.Material CostEnsure that the correct process is followed with the management of the ordering of the parts with the warehouse and vendors. (JDE)Processing the order of the subcontractors with the goal of reducing subcontractor cost as much as possible.Management of material cost to ensure reduction and correct charges to customer.What You Will Need to be Successful: Business Management Diploma would be advantageous.
