Superintendent Category Management- Mining, EE A leading mining company invites highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals to apply for this position.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS To manage the execution of an overall strategy to improve costs, service and quality across the Northern Cape operations and to coordinate with strategic sourcing and stock management stakeholders and suppliers to achieve performance targets, which includes but not limited to: -Commodity management -Cost saving -Change management -Data integrity -Continuous improvement -Business governance and compliance -Quality management -Planning -Resource utilisation and optimisation -Budget and cost control -Customer support -People management -Stock management -SHERQ adherence and compliance (in own area of work) -Work Ethics QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Logistics / Supply Chain / Finance / Engineering EXPERIENCE -Minimum of five (5) years operational Category management / Commodity management experience -Minimum of two (2) years operational supervisory experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS -Drivers License - Code B/EB -Medically Fit - Meet required medically fitness standards KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES -Computer literacy o Knowledge of MS Office suite and discipline specific software programmes/ systems -Commercial awareness o Understands and applies commercial and financial principles o Views issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value -Interpersonal relationships o Ability to build relationships across levels -Financial- and business acumen o Understand impact of decisions on business -Ethical behaviour o Mindful ethical behaviour -Leadership o Self-leadership and ability to lead others -Results driven o Must be flexible and conduct accurate repairs in short space of time -Change management o Ability to address change effectively and manage resistance -Enterprise resource planning o Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning principles and methodologies including risk management -Integrity -Embracing diversity -Accountability -Networking and collaboration skills -Quality conscious TERMS & CONDITIONS The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
Remuneration will be based on a competitive all-inclusive flexible package.
