Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Principal Engineer and be responsible for structural designs of Structural and Civil infrastructure including drawings, design reviews, meetings, report writing, risk management and inspections. Mentor and manage BIM modellers and junior designer Engineers/Technicians/Technologists. Construction monitoring of the Structural components of a project. Appreciation and love for Structural Engineering and its principles with an eagerness to grow into a knowledgeable Principle Structural Design Engineer/specialist and to lead Structural projects internally or externally. Desired Experience & Qualification Hold a B.Eng. degree (If you have a post-graduate qualification in structural engineering it will be to your advantage) Professionally registered with ECSA or proven to have already applied for ECSA Pr. Eng registration. Have at least 5+ years technical and practical experience in the field of structural engineering. Have technical and practical engineering skills in the structural engineering design of public, private and industrial infrastructure, including water retaining structures, steel structures and multi-storey buildings. Have working knowledge of Revit Modelling and FE analysis software. A well-developed understanding of all the related engineering disciplines involved in the design of public, private and industrial infrastructure projects.
