Key Performance Areas
Strategic Planning: Develops and oversees strategic planning processes aligned with organizational goals.
Governance and Performance Monitoring: Establishes and executes governance processes for effective organizational performance monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Annual Performance Plan (APP): Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Annual Performance Plan.
Reporting Cycle: Manages the monitoring and evaluation of the reporting cycle to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Annual Report Coordination: Coordinates and assesses performance information required for the Annual Report.
Financial Management: Plays a role in financial management processes related to strategic planning and performance evaluation.
People Management: Oversees and manages teams involved in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
Requirements
A relevant Postgraduate Business Qualification (NQF Level 8) or equivalent tertiary qualification in monitoring and evaluation.
Must demonstrate expertise in organizational governance and business management processes and planning.
Minimum of 5 years management experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation within a public entity or government institution.
Familiarity with business and management principles and understanding of science and technology aspects related to the company.
