The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial equipment supply and a proven track record in managing inventory and warehouse operations.Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the stores, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.Supervise a team of storekeepers and warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.Monitor and update inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels and movement.Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.Prepare and maintain reports on store activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and department performance.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a stores or warehouse supervisory role.Proven track record in managing inventory and warehouse operations.Knowledge of industrial equipment and materials.Strong leadership and communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.Valid driver's license.RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
