Business Unit, Department, Reporting Job grade/level OP2 Business Unit CFO Department Supply Chain Position reports to Manager: Logistics & Warehousing Span of Control 0 Core Description Responsible and accountable for the daily activities relating to inbound and outbound stock / assets movement within the distribution centre/holding facility.Ensuring operational execution of the stock management process and associated controls, as defined within the Stock Management Policy.Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Ensure both inbound and outbound stock movement is executed in a timely, effective and efficient manner and executed in line in line with governing policy standards, controls and technology and in doing so, is positioned to return maximum value to overall stock management Accurate and timely processing of outbound stock movement, both inventory and assets, across any of the following areas/locations Distribution centre/holding facility Regional distribution centres/holding facilities replenishments and / or requests Project office replenishments and / or requests Supplier dispatch Internal Assets Technicians Requests Ensure that the relevant SAP reports are completed.Ensure inventory levels are appropriately and effectively managed and duly controlled to ensure inventory levels are maintained in line with acceptable standards Stock Take reports: On the back of monthly stock takes across all locations affecting the distribution centre/holding facility, ensure overall "health check" is completed, no ambiguity around stock remains and that all stock is counted / adjusted / returned and where applicable, remedial action is set in motion Ensures quality assurance standards are upheld, ensuring distribution centre's/holding facility compliance to the Stock Management Policy and associated controls are sustained Follow policy, process and technology training, guidance and support from team leaders Escalate unresolved / outstanding areas of concern to management Core Functional Skills & Knowledge Supply Chain Management Policies and Procedures Computer Literacy Time Management.Core Behavioural Competencies 1.Job Match Rating 2.Delivering Results 3.Meeting customer expectations 4.Teamwork 5.Handling Pressure 6.Communication and Impact Minimum Qualifications NQF 4: Grade 12 National Diploma Additional Qualification preferred or advantage Experience 2 years experience Certifications None Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control Interact with similar levels at supplier and various stakeholders within BCX.Special Requirements/ Employment Condition Valid Drivers license Workplace/Physical Requirements Billable Full-time Office Based position.
