Role SummaryReports to the Middelburg Branch ManagerKey Responsibilities:The Storeman is accountable for picking and binning parts accurately and timeously in the warehouse.Receiving and dispatching of all parts.Binning and picking of all parts.Locate pre-determined bin location of all parts.Verify the picked part accuracy required for detailed description, part numbers, and quantity being picked/binned.Accuracy of supplying and receiving part quantities over the counter.Required to operate a forklift for heavy-duty parts and other material equipment.General orderly movement of all parts, boxes, and packages.Assist parts salesman EMT and Mining.Maintain sales orders, Parts GRV, and replenishment orders.Capturing of serial numbers of major components.Assist with stock taking.Report all defects of parts to the manager.Cycle count on a weekly basis.Ensure that core components returns are plugged and clean before sending them back to head office.Doing transport arrangements.Creating bin locations.Pre-shift inspection of forklift.Qualifications:Matric (Grade 12) – Supply chain management / Storekeeping skills.Experience:Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in supply chain management / storekeeping / stock taking.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.Skills:Self-motivated.Numeric.Teamwork.Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures.Able to work under pressure.Accuracy.Customer Service Skills.Characteristics:Honest.Reliable.Able to make sound decisions.Enthusiastic.Positive & Proactive.
