Four Square Queenstown is looking for an exceptional full time permanent Grocery Assistant Manager / Duty Manager to lead our team.
Minimum Requirements: At least three years' experience in retail or management.Liquor Controller Qualification.Suitable candidate to obtain a General Managers Certificate.An NZQF Diploma would be an advantage.Physically fit for heavy lifting.Able to work rostered flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.Minimum of 35 hours per week, pay rate $29.66 per hour.
Our successful Grocery Assistant Manager will have a passion for customer service, be highly motivated and reliable, be able to learn new tasks/skills quickly, have excellent communication skills, and possess refined team leadership abilities.
Duties include: Training, leading and coordinating a team of checkout operators and store persons in line with store procedures.Stock management - ordering and presentation.Regularly assessing the product range.Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.Providing outstanding, prompt customer service.Upholding the sale of liquor legislation policies.Four Square Queenstown is located in the heart of Queenstown and offers a supportive working environment and career advancement opportunities in the industry, with a scenic, adventurous backdrop.
