Store / Branch Manager

The main purpose is to drive and grow the profitability of the Store through the effective management of its employees, financial, and technological resources, and ensuring efficient application of the company's policies and procedures and management best practice in order to exceed all stakeholders' expectations Duties include: Manage ProfitabilityPlanning and BudgetingProcurement, stock control and merchandisingMaintain Stock variancesFinancial ManagementCustomer ServiceAccountable for day-to-day operationsOperational analysisPeople ManagementLegislative compliance and corporate governanceTo uphold and promote the company values and culture Minimum Requirements: Grade 12Preferably a commerce bachelor's degree / or equivalent experiencePreferably Financial or Management diploma5-10 years retail experienceMinimum of 3 years' in a junior-mid level management positionPrevious industry related experience (previous experience within the cabinet making, carpentry, boards, cut and edge industry with proven management experience as well as entrepreneurial thinking)Financial acumenInwards and Outwards Logistics/Procurement skillsMerchandising principlesPreferably have knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
