Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Storage Specialist within the Enterprise environment. The role involves maintaining Storage, SAN, and Compute hardware by providing OEM good practice through the design, implementation, and deployment of shared system resources, such as disks and networking. Responsibilities include performance analysis, troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain all current IT Infrastructure and Data CentersMaintain all IT DR policies, procedures, and strategiesCreate and maintain capacity strategies for IT Enterprise hardwareSLA Management for Data Center ServicesInfrastructure Availability ReportingAssist with Value Added ServicesRecommendations and implementation of actions for continuous improvementAd-hoc projects within the defined scope of the supported productsIdentification of innovative ideas to improve service deliveryClient interaction, advising on best practicesSound knowledge of Design and Maintenance for Storage, Server, Backups, and Operating SystemsSAN – Physical and Fabrics (Director Class, Blade Chassis switches)Minimum RequirementsGrade 12Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in ITVarious hardware vendor experience and certificationsITIL certificationA+ and N+ Certification5+ years' experience in an Enterprise IT EnvironmentExperience managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ and MSA Storage SolutionsBrocade SAN Enterprise experienceTechnical lead for Plan, Build, and OperateExperience managing 15 PetabytesTicket management and Design DocumentationPackage & RemunerationSalary Market Related
