Storage SpecialistOur client, leaders in the Road Transport Solutions space, has a permanent venture for a Storage Specialist.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Storage, SAN, and Compute hardware by providing OEM good practice through designing, implementing, and deploying shared system resources, like disks and networking. Responsibilities include performance analysis, troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in ITVarious hardware vendor experience and certificationsITIL certificationA+ and N+ Certification5+ years' experience in an Enterprise IT EnvironmentExperience managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ I and II, or certifiedExperience implementing MSA Storage Solutions, or certifiedBrocade SAN Enterprise Experience, or certifiedKnowledge and Experience:Systems and Systems IntegrationManaging 15 PetabytesTechnical lead for Plan, Build and OperateHPE 3PAR (7000 series, 20800 series)HPE MSAHPE Physical servers (Various models)SAN – Physical and Fabrics (Director Class, Blade Chassis switches)
