Our 97,000 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionSupervise storage staff.Assist with client complaints/queries in regard to storage/shipment.Ensure samples are ready for collection as a complete batch and/or as per client request.Ensure that store/s is arranged in an orderly manner.Rejects and pulps to be arranged in order of client and complete jobs/batches.Ensure all relevant documents for chain of custody are properly documented, signed, and filed.Ensure accurate records are kept when samples are moved, disposed of, or returned.Ensure inventory records are kept and updated.Communicate with Logistics Supervisor regarding all aspects of the job.Comply and conform to Laboratory Quality Management System (ISO17025).Maintain a clean working environment.Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the direct line manager.Has the authority to instruct and delegate work to all staff in Sample Storage.Ensure compliance with SGS Health and Safety Act.Adhere to SGS general safety rules and rules of contact.Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or enter hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection, and report the situation to higher authority to take action.Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and report the situation to higher authority to take action.Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified, or when nonconformity is identified.QualificationsMatric with Math and Science.
