Minimum Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)A minimum of a BCom or B. Degree in Logistics, Transport, Business Management or FinanceA minimum 5-years Operational experience in Warehousing and Stock ControlA minimum of 3 years in a Management roleUnderstanding of key business cost driversFinancial and business modelling experienceStock management experienceExperience in logistics and business software systemsExperience and understanding of SAP stock management transactionsResponsibilities:Ensure that all stock transactions are accounted for and the system inventory levels are reflective of physical inventory within the warehouseEnsure that customer accounts are reflective of the stock that is physically deliveredAnalyze the stock management environment and identification of critical risk areasInvestigate and provide recommendations for the redesign of warehouse processes specifically related to stock management and movementExecute the management & control of finished goods stock inventoryEnsure the effective execution & accurate accounting of stock movements via secondary distributionEnsure the effective execution & accurate accounting of stock movements via primary distributionSupport the regional teams in the management of stockReconcile all the quantity of the loads delivered to customers on SAP in order to minimize loss and wastageEnsure the monitoring and investigations of daily variances in order to provide weekly reportsManaging the proof of delivery to customers and manage queries that may ariseInvestigate customer queries and ensure timely resolveManage and Maintain the accounts and keep records of the transactionsEnsure that Stock Management practices are adhered to, at all timesEnsure the effective execution of customer claims processes & Proof of Delivery (POD) delivery requirementsEnsure compliance to operational standards in line with SCMAT (Stock and Management Practices) and flag and communicate deviations as and when they occurMaintain the effective execution of the stock management policies and proceduresMonitoring of key KPIs relating to stock management and controlManagement of stock management systems and software applications to ensure effective utilization within warehouse facilitiesExecute the analysis of stock reconciliations to ensure accuracy (quality) and to identify opportunities and issuesImplement stock counting procedures, systems and processes and the standardization of these across all warehouse facilitiesMaintain quality assurance and roll out of TPM FIFO principlesOversee daily stock count to ensure optimal reportingStructure and facilitate problem-solving using suitable resources and appropriate techniques to eliminate root cause and close loopsManage gaps using a formal process to track problems and their resolutionIdentify and prioritize performance improvement opportunities using key KPIs and appropriate analysisPlan, implement, and manage performance improvement projectsPeople and Stakeholder ManagementManage the team effectively to achieve the goals, high engagement levels, and quality work outputsManage and ensure regular engagements with the team to ensure alignment and the addressing of needs and risks as they may ariseManage and allocate work to achieve productivity through working on opportunities to minimize waste and control fixed and variable costsAlign team activities to optimize processes through supporting and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and optimizing process capabilityManage and maintain the management accountability to the Risk Manager on issues related to stock and mitigations on losses and non-complianceMaintain interaction with distribution, production, external customers, and sales when required
