Stock Controller

Position Overview:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Stock Controller to oversee our inventory management processes. The Stock Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring efficient stock movement within our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software.Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.Generate stock reports and analyze data to identify trends and potential stock issues.Coordinate with purchasing and couriers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize inventory accuracy.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the stock control function.Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications:Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field experience preferred.Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
