At ArcelorMittal, our goal is to help build a better world with smarter steels.ResponsibilitiesExpert knowledge and custodian of SAP MM/WM and other applicable applications in the MM/WM domain.Service Level Management – adherence to Service levels as agreed between IM and its stakeholders.Identify bottlenecks and assist in resolving issues within SAP MM/WM and peripheral systems.Maintenance and development requests including exploration, business case, planning, design, configuration, testing, and implementation.Effective communication of change to users.Adherence to set standards.Continuous improvement drive and efficiency of support within ArcelorMittal South Africa.Interaction with 3rd party suppliers and management of the quotation and approval process.Ensure continuous adherence to legal compliance requirements.Training of SAP MM users on usage, best practices, and advanced concepts.SAP configuration and implementation.Demand management within the SAP domain.Participation in Special Interest Groups and other local expert groups.Strives to deliver high quality, fit-for-purpose, reusable, and maintainable solutions.Maintain understanding of current best practices and trends.Responsible for managing change requests and customer satisfaction.QualificationB-Degree / Higher National Diploma / B-Tech Degree (NQF7/10) in Computer Science.SAP HCM certification will be advantageous.Experience and RequirementsMinimum 2 years experience in SAP support, training, or as a super user in the MM/WM space.6 years relevant experience in the specific business process environment.Proven experience in MM/WM SAP ERP environment.Strong project management skills in Information Management.Extensive experience in all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC).Exceptional technical ability for design, setup, installation, configuration, and administration.Proven experience in auditing compliance.Ability to conform to SLA for logging and tracking of incidents/changes.Personal AttributesStrong technical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving competency.Ability to work under pressure.Strong presentation and facilitation skills.Proactive and results driven.Passionate about technology and innovation.
