Business Development Manager – Gauteng, SA – November 2024DeepAlert is an established brand providing AI video analytic solutions to the surveillance industry worldwide. We service many of SA's leading off-site monitoring companies, providing a cost-effective, cloud-based monitoring platform. Due to increased demand for our product, we are expanding our team and require an experienced Business Development Manager with an extensive network and a track record of sales in the surveillance industry.
We are looking for an ambitious, target-driven BDM to join our sales team at an exciting time in our company's growth.
Reporting to: Head of Sales and Marketing
Location: Gauteng
Duties & Responsibilities: Sourcing own leads using existing network and focused cold calling, particularly at the C-suite and executive levelQualifying prospectsMeeting prospective qualified clients either in person or online to explain value proposition and understand needs of the clientLiaising with DeepAlert Client Services to arrange trial of the system for prospective clientsManaging the trial process and closing the saleNegotiating large client contractsManaging a full pipeline via the CRM system and reporting per company policiesRepresenting the company at industry/client functions and eventsMeeting sales activity KPIs and revenue targetsSharing client feedback with DeepAlert Product TeamExperience & Skills: Minimum of 5 years experience in the SaaS industry, preferably the surveillance industry in a sales capacity with a proven track record of sales growthA thorough understanding of the technical aspects of CCTV and video management systemsUnderstanding of the SaaS model in the surveillance industry and the techniques for sellingStrong communication and presentation skillsHighly motivated, self-starter, and action-orientedAn ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentA willingness to travel extensively in SA (own vehicle required)On offer: Competitive salary and attractive commission structureOpportunity to grow in the company
