SPECIALIST INVESTMENT AND GRANTS- DURBAN Finance / Accounting Pinetown, Durban - KwaZulu Natal SPECIALIST INVESTMENT AND GRANTS Our client has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join their team.
Purpose of the Job: To support the company in the development of investment, grants and donor policy and procedure To support the development of donor applications, proposals, and reports, as well as ensuring donor compliance and quality control To contribute to the development and revision of funding proposals, budgets, and donor reports To research and analyze investment and funding opportunities in the water and sanitation sector To monitor and analyze trends that leads to potential revenue growth opportunities for the company.
To continuously update the companies business plan and business canvass, while monitoring performance.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for: Strategy and Oversight Proposal Development Donor, Grant and Investments Tracking Stakeholder Engagement Investors, Donors, and Grant Funders Administration and Reporting.
Minimum Qualifications: Matric Bachelors degree in commerce or finance NQF 7 Postgraduate qualification in Business Management or Development Finance NQF 8 MBA, masters degree in development finance.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience in the Financial and/or Local Economic Development Sector or similar environment of which 3 years should be at the middle management level Fair understanding of the water and sanitation sector Good understating of both private and public sector Proven experience in local and international fundraising Project Management experience.
Technical and Functional Competencies: Learning Management Systems (LMS) Expertise Curriculum and Instructional Design Educational Technology Integration Project Management Skills Strategic Thinking: Align strategies with the Colleges goals Leadership and Team Management Stakeholder Engagement Problem Solving and Decision Making Adaptability and Flexibility Ethics and Integrity: Uphold high ethical standards Business development * Client relationship management Commercial/business acumen Communication management Management communication Flair for marketing (sales, brand and image management, promotional support) Networking Product knowledge Public relations Risk management Strategic marketing and sales Finance / financial analysis Project financing/company structures Prospecting skills Knowledge of the water and sanitation services sector (locally and internationally) If you are interested and meet the criteria fully you are welcome to appy.
