The Financial Controller (FC) is responsible to support the financial operations of our organisation. Reporting to the Financial Manager, the Financial Controller plays a key role in assisting with accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the preparation of financial reports. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial processes and providing support to the Financial Manager.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting is preferable.At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is essential.Experience using SAGE Intacct, or related accounting systems.Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulations.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Attention to Detail: Precision in financial reporting and compliance to avoid errors.Communication Skills: Ability to present financial information clearly.Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying financial issues and developing effective solutions.Time Management: Skill in managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Qualities: Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial data and compliance with regulations.Adaptability: Being flexible and responsive to changing business environments and regulations.Resilience: Handling pressure and meeting deadlines, especially during audits or financial reporting periods.Collaborative Spirit: Working well with other departments to support internal customers.
