SPECIALIST: GOVERNANCE AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT FIXED-TERM CONTRACT OF 3 YEARSThe Organisation requires the services of a Senior Manager: Governance and Contract Management in the Supply Chain Management Department. This position is on a fixed-term contract of 3 years and will be based in Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure adherence to sound SCM governance principles and enterprise ethical compliance management.Oversee the implementation and compliance of the SCM processes.Develop SCM internal controls.Provide governance leadership.Quality assure Bid adjudication submissions.Develop and manage supplier performance and reporting.Develop, maintain, and manage the contract database within SANParks.Develop SCM policies and procedures.Capacitate SCM on governance and contract management.Conduct sample audits on SCM processes across SANParks and Reporting.Manage and monitor the implementation of audit action plans.Develop, manage, and monitor the SCM risk operational plans.Provide due diligence and advise Bid Committees on SCM processes.Required Qualifications, Experiences, And SkillsBe in possession of a Degree (NQF L7) in Economics or Law Supply Chain Management or Logistics Or Finance.Should have at least 6 years of work experience in the SCM Governance or Internal Audit/Control environment.Should have knowledge of the relevant SCM prescripts, PFMA and its regulations, PPPFA and Treasury Directives.Knowledge of the Kings Report (IV).International finance reporting.Knowledge of internal control systems/audit.Knowledge of generally accepted business principles.An understanding of business analysis.Knowledge of risk management.Establish governance frameworks and meeting legislative and regulatory requirements.Ability to read and interpret regulatory, policy, and related acquisition guidance.Sound business judgment.Ability to communicate internal controls concept clearly, in a business context.Ability to lead and supervise staff.Strong leadership skills.Strong project and change management skills.Proficient in the use of MS Office packages.Desired SkillsSee above spec.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionLegalIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
