Position Overview: The client is seeking an experienced and passionate Spa Head Therapist to join the team and lead the spa in delivering exceptional therapeutic services.
The Spa Head Therapist will oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring a calming, welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the highest standards of service.
The role requires providing personalized treatments, fostering a peaceful atmosphere, and contributing to the overall guest experience.
You will be an essential part of our team, ensuring the spa's reputation for excellence and the well-being of all our guests.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver a variety of high-quality therapeutic spa treatments (massages, facials, body treatments, etc.)
tailored to individual guest needs.
Provide personalized consultations and recommend appropriate treatments based on clients' preferences and conditions.
Supervise and mentor a team of spa therapists, ensuring that all treatments meet our high standards.
Maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the spa at all times, ensuring a tranquil experience for each guest.
Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment areas and the overall spa facility.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Ensure all treatment equipment and products are stocked and in good condition.
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team to improve skills and knowledge.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of treatments and client preferences.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in the wellness and spa industry.
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification.
Must be fluent in English (spoken, written, and comprehension) at a professional level.
Computer literate, with at least Level 2 proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Certification in massage therapy or a related spa treatment field.
Prior experience in a spa or wellness environment, with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a therapist role.
Proven experience in supervising or managing a team of spa therapists is highly advantageous.
