Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven DT BRM to oversee our DT activity in South Africa and Global Distributor Network (GDN) countries. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for consistently partnering with local business by supporting daily IT activities and processes, as well as supporting SMS 8.1 (Sales and field service system) implementation in Africa. The successful candidate will have proven success managing all technology support aspects of a mid-size commercial business and IT systems project management experience. Duties include driving business process changes within the systems, working with functional managers to ensure their systems support, and partnering with other DT colleagues locally and globally to support daily activities.
This position is based in our SA HQ office.
Type of contract: Temporary for 2 years.
Duties and Responsibilities
Effective team building with local management within SA country.
Assess DT customer operational capabilities.
Understand business requirements for DT capabilities.
Understand DT landscape.
Collect DT customer requirements.
Implement DT customer requirements.
Help to identify and prioritize DT opportunities.
Understand DT service requirements.
Understand business unit risk tolerance.
Assess business constraints on DT service/solution.
Projects: review implementation schedule and roll-out activities.
Projects: plan and align user testing and resources.
Projects: support organizational changes.
Projects: update project activities in Otis tools.
Support GDN for system access.
Resolve distributor DT issues.
Collaborate between GDN and internal DT.
Infrastructure & back office collaboration.
Follow up on Service Management (ServiceNow ticketing service process).
Follow up on key company system sustain: JDE, Elog, CRM, Concur.
Follow up on local system and vendor support, as well as the migration to global system.
Skills
Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience (minimum 5 years).
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
Expertise in systems implementation and project governance.
Hands-on experience in daily support DT management.
Hands-on experience as project manager in complex projects.
Excellent verbal and writing skills.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred: BS in Computer Science or similar field.
Experience in a service or elevator company is a plus.
English fluent (minimum C1).
