Lasec International is looking to recruit a Sales Solution Specialist to join the Diagnostics Sales Team based at the Cape Town Office. In this role you will be working with key customers on suitable solutions for optimised sample collection and transport. We address high volume screening requirements for infectious diseases such as HIV and TB but also collaborate on new projects for private label products or innovative healthcare solutions. Incumbent will be reporting to the Sales Manager and will form part of a team selling diagnostic kits and consumables. Requirements that must be met:Science (BSC) or similar degree, will be advantageous.Sales experience is preferred.A good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. English is the primary business language.Possess high levels of self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a team.Summary of duties and responsibilities:Achieve sales targets.Participate in action plans to drive sales. Must have the ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines.Commercial affinity for understanding business basics.Establishing and developing relationships with the clients. Taking specifications from the client, researching the products required and correlating these to the products sold by the Company and developing a quotation for the client.Following up with the clients.Update and maintain the customer database.Sales reporting and after sales support.
