About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join our nationally recognised employment team in Worcester. You will join an experienced and supportive team, who will help you to develop your career, whilst ensuring you have a clear path for progression.
We offer a broad and varied caseload of employment work, predominantly working on respondent work, but also supporting with some claimant and corporate support work.
We would consider candidates looking for full-time or part-time working across 4 or 5 days.
What we need you to do:

Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of employment. This includes:

Restrictive covenant disputes
Confidential information disputes
Employment Tribunal litigation
Advising employers on general day to day workplace issues
Advice on settlement agreements and advising employers on settlement agreements together with drafting settlement agreements
Corporate support
Advice on and drafting contracts of employment and Employee Handbooks
A working knowledge of Data Protection issues arising in the workplace

Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within Employment, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

About You
You will need:

2-5 PQE
A solid grounding in Employment law
An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
To have strong commercial acumen
To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
