To oversee the teams' functionality and conduct the deployment of new products, services, and systems. This will also include site and task allocation. The ROM will also be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring resource allocation. Coordinate with the teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of installation. Additionally, the ROM is required to check and provide the daily site plan and feedback closure.Responsibilities:Dispatch tasks to teams/subcontractors and ensure efficiency and task completion.Planning and controlling resource allocation.Ensure project delivery and meeting of deadlines.Ensure the teams are well equipped for the tasks or otherwise align with Technical leader and recommend relevant trainings.Provide project scope of work development and management, equipment ordering, and logistics management.Ensure teams are aware of the work scope and milestones that need to be accomplished.Completion of project budgets - must be updated for weekly reporting.Oversee project scheduling, reporting, contracts management, project installation quality control.Coordination of department tools and documents.Ensure Project Health and Safety responsibilities are adhered to.Management of Site Technicians and Electricians.Oversee subcontractor appointments and management.Assess and accept engineering designs.Provide updated documentation for project work implementation.Assist with any operations and maintenance issues on all sites.Ensure all ISO9001 and ISO45001 compliances are met during construction.Provide feedback on project closure and/or any site work deficiencies.Feedback project learnings to the Service and Delivery department ensuring continual improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Automation or a related field.Minimum 5+ years' experience in project management in the renewable sector (UPS experience will be an added advantage).Knowledge of UPS and passive power supplies is an advantage.Proven experience in managing projects from development phase to handover phase.Stay up-to-date with the industrial standards and guidelines.Understanding of solar PV energy designs and systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Job Type: Full-timePay: R40000,00 - R50000,00 per monthExperience:Project management: 3 years (Required)Application Deadline: 2024/08/31
