The following are the primary responsibilities of the role: As a Socio-Economic Development (SED) Administrator at Medipost, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the company's socio-economic development initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include: Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage socio-economic development programs aligned with Medipost's goals and values.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of social investment projects.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing and new community partners, non-profit organisations, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between social investment initiatives and corporate objectives.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist the SED Manager to monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
Evaluate and process grant applications from non-profit organisations.
Ensure that all documentation received from non-profit organisations aligns with the rules and regulations of SED.
Facilitate and assist with tracking and reporting on the impact of grants awarded.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on the progress and impact of social investment projects.
Maintain accurate records of activities, budgets, and outcomes for reporting purposes.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure that social investment activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Employee Engagement: Facilitate volunteer programs and initiatives involving employees.
Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate events related to social investment, such as community outreach programs, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns.
Communication: Work closely with the company's communication department to effectively communicate Medipost's social responsibility initiatives internally and externally.
Skills: Administration, project management or public relations.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
Knowledge of compliance, governance, and reporting requirements.
Ability to coordinate and facilitate events.

Qualifications: Marketing Diploma, Communications, PR, Events, Project Management, or a related qualification.
