As Chelsea Comms, we specialise in providing digital marketing, communications, and sustainability services within the Chelsea Group. Our clients, including CTG (Committed to Good), touch lives through humanitarian staffing, clean water technology, security, and life support in complex environments. Most of our clients are B2B, and our culture is grounded in honesty, curiosity, empathy, and ambition.Role overview: We are seeking a social media manager who is on top of trends, skilled in creating various types of content including video (with support if need be), and knowledgeable about how AI can enhance social media efforts. You will develop engaging social media content and strategies that resonate with our target audiences. This role requires a strong writer and content creator, experienced in managing social media for B2B brands, with extensive experience on LinkedIn. Knowledge of paid campaigns is a bonus. An interest in global affairs is essential. You will be working closely with our inhouse designers, copywriter and creative director.What you'll be doing:Content creation: Develop engaging social media content, including posts, videos, and graphics, working closely with our designers.Content planning: Develop and maintain a content calendar, staying up to date with key dates and events.Platform expertise: Manage social media accounts across various platforms, with a strong focus on LinkedIn. Your secondary focuses would be Facebook and Instagram.Brand management: Understand each brand deeply and translate that into effective social media strategies.Trend analysis: Stay on top of social media trends and incorporate them into our strategies.AI integration: Utilise AI tools to enhance social media management and content creation.Paid campaigns: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to drive engagement and growth.Collaboration: Work closely with the comms director, creative director, and designers to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.Community management: Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages to foster a strong online presence. You should be able to manage social media responses during crisis situations with poise and effectiveness, and you will be supported in this.Reporting: Create detailed reports on social media performance with the confidence to present insights to the team.A month in this role could look like:Creating compelling social media content for clients in the sustainability sector.Developing and executing a paid social media campaign for a clean water technology start-up.Collaborating with designers to produce engaging video content for a humanitarian staffing client.Analysing social media trends and integrating new strategies to enhance engagement.Managing LinkedIn accounts for various B2B clients, ensuring consistent and impactful content.Participating in a workshop on AI tools for social media enhancement.Presenting social media performance reports to the team, providing actionable insights.Our values:Honesty: Transparency and integrity matter to us.Making a Difference: We do work that counts and truly makes an impact.Creativity: We want to inject creativity into everything we do, finding new, interesting ways to make our clients shine.Support: We've got each other's backs and thrive on collaboration.We're looking for someone who is:Creative and curious: Always exploring new content trends and integrating them into your work. You're also a quick mover who can act fast in times of pressure.Purpose-driven and strategic: You believe in the power of social media and communication to make a real difference and want to work with a team that shares this belief.Interested in global affairs and sustainability: You're excited about working with clients that are making a real difference in the world.You'll need the following skills and expertise:3–5 years' experience in social media management, preferably in an agency setting.Strong writing and content creation skills.Proficiency in using social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.Knowledge of social media trends and AI tools for social media.Experience with video content creation and editing.Experience with paid social media campaigns is a bonus.Ability to produce high-quality, engaging, and impactful social media content.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Work environment: While we appreciate the flexibility of remote work and understand that life happens, our focus now is on building a strong, cohesive team in person.
